Who we are
This website is for SOUTHERN CROSS ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS PTY LTD, trading as Southern Cross Roofing, ABN 84 606 799 142, ACN 606 799 142.
For a roofing enquiry, a privacy question or help using this website, call 0407 623 915 or email Southerncrossroofing1@gmail.com.
Information you choose to provide
The short quote form asks for your name, phone number, suburb or postcode and the type of work you need. Email, property type and notes are optional.
The detailed form asks for your name and at least one contact method. You can also provide property and project details, such as the address, roof material, timing, budget, access requirements and contact preferences. Technical questions are optional; you can leave them blank or choose “Not sure yet”.
We use the information you provide to understand the work, contact you, prepare or discuss a quote and manage any resulting roofing enquiry or job. We do not need identity documents, financial records or unrelated personal information for an initial enquiry. If you leave out required contact details, we may be unable to respond; you can call or email us instead.
Sending a request
Your answers remain in the page while you fill in the form. The website does not save a draft in browser storage. Your browser may separately remember information through its own autofill settings.
When you choose Send, the website submits your request to our website's enquiry service. Accepted requests are stored privately on the hosting account, and the business is notified at Southerncrossroofing1@gmail.com. Information contained in the email notification and any follow-up email is also handled through Gmail, a Google service.
A website confirmation means your enquiry has been recorded for follow-up; it is not a confirmed booking, agreed price or contract for work. If the website cannot confirm your request, it will say so. You can then try again or contact us by phone or email.
Photos
Photos are optional. This form accepts JPG, PNG and WebP photos; PDFs and other documents are not accepted online. If you have plans, mention them in your request and we can discuss a suitable way to provide them. The form explains the supported file types and limits before you choose a file. Your browser may prepare a smaller copy of a photo; the original on your device stays unchanged. Selecting a file does not send it. Accepted attachments are sent with your request only when you choose Send and are handled privately for the enquiry and any resulting work.
We may reject an unsupported or unsuitable file. Please send only material that you own or have permission to share, and avoid including other people's private information unless necessary and authorised. Do not include identity documents or financial records. You can remove a selected file or continue without attachments.
Do not climb onto a roof or disturb suspected asbestos or other suspect materials to take photos or answer a question. Photos taken safely from the ground are enough to start the conversation.
Hosting, email and technical information
This website is hosted with GoDaddy. Browsing and submitting forms involves technical requests that may include your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request timing. Technical information is used to deliver and protect the website and manage inappropriate or automated requests.
GoDaddy provides the website hosting, and Google provides the Gmail mailbox used for enquiry notifications and correspondence. Enquiry records, email and technical information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States. These services use international infrastructure; this notice does not promise that all information stays in one country.
Access to enquiry information is for people handling the enquiry or work and providers supporting those services. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law. Provider processing depends on the service and its applicable terms. See GoDaddy's privacy information and Google's privacy policy for more about their practices.
Browser preferences and marketing
The website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. You can remove it using your browser's site-data settings. This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
The forms support your browser's saved autofill details. Google Places address suggestions are not enabled on this website.
Submitting a roofing enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We may contact you about your request and any resulting work; promotional marketing is separate.
Keeping information secure and deciding how long to retain it
Enquiry records are stored in a private area of the hosting account, outside the public website files. We use access restrictions and request checks to help protect information. Email correspondence is also held in the business mailbox.
Processed copies on our website server are automatically removed after 30 days. Requests awaiting notification are retained until the issue is resolved. Enquiry emails and related business records are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet applicable record-keeping requirements.
Access, corrections and privacy concerns
To ask about information held about you, request access or a correction, or raise a privacy concern, contact Southerncrossroofing1@gmail.com or 0407 623 915. Explain the request and how you would like us to reply. Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and agree a suitable way to provide them.
We will review the request, clarify relevant details where needed and respond through an appropriate contact channel. If a request cannot be met, we will explain the reason and any available next steps. You can ask for an accessible way to communicate with us.
For information about privacy rights and making a complaint where the Privacy Act applies, see the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
